Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2026: BPSC Announces 32,388 Vacancies
BPSC has announced 32,388 vacancies under Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination 2026. Online applications will open on September 1 and remain available until September 30, with posts offered for teachers from Classes 1 to 12.
Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification for the fourth phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 4), opening the way for recruitment to 32,388 school teacher positions across the state.
According to the recruitment schedule issued on August 18, the online application process will begin on September 1, 2026. Eligible candidates will have until September 30 to submit their applications, while the deadline for completing the examination fee payment is September 29.
The recruitment drive will cover teaching positions across multiple school levels. A total of 3,847 vacancies are available for Classes 1 to 5, while Classes 6 to 8 have 8,563 posts. Another 3,877 positions are earmarked for Classes 9 and 10, and the largest share of 16,101 vacancies is for Classes 11 and 12.
The commission has issued the recruitment notification under Advertisement No. 14/2026. Detailed eligibility requirements, application instructions and other conditions have been made available through the BPSC's official recruitment channels.
The announcement follows the Bihar government's earlier decision to seek recruitment against more than 32,388 teaching vacancies. The government has said the recruitment is aimed at addressing teacher shortages while expanding employment opportunities for qualified candidates in the state.
