Thousands of Devotees Witness Grand ‘Kali Mata – Adishakti’ Live Tableau on Pune’s Tilak Road

Pune: Shivdarshan Mitra Mandal Trust's grand live tableau, themed Kali Mata – Adishakti, attracted thousands of devotees on Tilak Road in Pune. The presentation combined religious devotion with a social message, highlighting women's empowerment, respect for women, equal educational opportunities for girls and the prevention of female foeticide.

The tableau was organised with the objective of raising awareness about the importance of women's dignity and their role in society. Through the powerful depiction of Goddess Kali, the trust sought to convey that women are not weak but embody the strength and power of Adishakti.

Grand Live Performance Attracts Thousands of Devotees

The live presentation featured elaborate costumes, expressive performances and an impressive lighting arrangement that brought the concept of Adishakti to life.

Thousands of devotees gathered to witness the tableau, which became one of the major attractions in the Tilak Road area. The presentation received an enthusiastic response from visitors.

The organisers used the portrayal of Goddess Kali to communicate the importance of recognising and respecting women's strength in everyday life.

The initiative was organised under the leadership of Shivdarshan Mitra Mandal Trust president Aba Bagul, treasurer Nandkumar Bangde and secretary Ghanshyam Sawant.

Nandkumar Kondalkar, Ramesh Bhandari, organisers Hemant Bagul and Amit Bagul, along with the trust's members and volunteers, contributed to the organisation and presentation of the tableau.
