Atiq Ahmed's Youngest Son Aban Ahmed Dies in Road Accident in Uttar Pradesh
Aban Ahmed, the youngest son of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, died in a road accident in Jhansi while travelling from Prayagraj to meet his jailed brother Ali Ahmed. Another passenger was also killed, while three others were seriously injured. Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Fatal Crash on Highway
According to officials, Aban Ahmed and four others were travelling from Prayagraj to Jhansi when their vehicle crashed into a highway divider. The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in the deaths of Aban Ahmed and another passenger at the scene.
Three other occupants of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Was Travelling to Meet Jailed Brother
Police said Aban was on his way to meet his brother Ali Ahmed, who is currently lodged in Jhansi District Jail after being transferred from Naini Central Jail.
Ali Ahmed is an accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, a high-profile case linked to the killing of a key witness in the BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case.
Background
The incident comes amid the continued legal troubles surrounding the family of Atiq Ahmed, who was shot dead along with his brother Ashraf Ahmed in April 2023 while being escorted by police for a medical examination in Prayagraj.
The Ahmed family has remained at the centre of several criminal investigations and court cases over the years.
